We still need to thread Vincent and Itachi, huh . . .
Man, I need to stop doing question memes, because I forget what I said last time. Umm, for Serah and Itachi . . . It's pretty much par the course! They're slowly opening up to each other and discussing issues, while still setting aside other ones. She doesn't want to push him on Sasuke, because she knows that feeling. Still, she opens up about Lightning a little, because Itachi would know what's going on with her which means he makes for a great sister observer . . . And, well, she does want to open their relationship. It may be slow going as Serah never pushes much beyond what she thinks she can handle, but Itachi is a rather patient guy.
How together/competent does Itachi think the Farrons are with each other? Comparatively or not . . .
Well, from Itachi's perspective most any sibling pair in Aather right now is probably doing better than him and Sasuke, so he thinks the Farrons are doing okay. He has thought in the past that sometimes they both get a little too caught up in trying to be what they think the other expects/needs, but he can also understand doing it. And really, any issue he's noticed with them, like Lightning being to hard on herself sometimes and such, are things that he can relate to, so he's not inclined to judge. Particularly not at this point, since like I said, they are doing better than the Uchihas. As long as they are seeming to get along and not avoiding each other then he thinks they are probably doing all right. He hopes they are, at least.
Also, yes Itachi and Vincent should thread again. :T
I'm not a failure, I promise . . . I just don't know what kind of situation would have Vincent tackling Itachi again. My memory is poor, but I do think they played chess most recently . . . Ish.
Haha, Serah loves Emerald a whole lot. They are definitely a team unto themselves, but they work well together, almost like a family. She's shy about encroaching too much in the circle of people that Lightning has found for herself, but she's also really happy that her sister has a team that she can connect with as well as she does. Seeing how much Itachi looks after and worries for her in his own way was really touching to Serah. Mmm, more than anything, Emerald fits in with Serah's experience of family as she knows it. Between the two of them, the sisters were a quiet and reserved, though capable, pair, so Emerald echoes that same feeling in spades but with a lot more open warmth.
Does Itachi have any hopes or dreams for the team? Either as a group or for individual members . . .
Hmm. He wants everyone on the team to be happy and comfortable and to stay alive, and for the team itself to remain stable, but aside from that...not anything really specific. Sometimes he worries that the team as a whole is a bit too good at going into denial/ignoring their feelings/keeping things to themselves, and if that starts to seem especially damaging he might start to feel like that should change somehow. Though he wouldn't necessarily be the best person to facilitate that change, since...he's a ninja. And an Uchiha.
But yeah right now he is okay with things.
And it's cool, about Vincent. Itachi could conceivably approach him sometime when he is feeling bored and masochistic again.
Oh, I do love being everyone's favorite vice . .. ♥
Mmm, it suits him very well! I was surprised by how well he has taken to it as well as how easily I was able to shift to it. Really, he has always had enough going on that he didn't need games to add to it, though. Vincent always has some scheme or two going on, so it makes it easier to focus my energy on them without getting side tracked or distracted. Hilariously, the games that Vincent can still take part in are also the games that are best-suited to him, so he gets to enjoy all the best parts of Aather now. Mm, I was also terrible at keeping up with memories, and I always will be, so it's nice not to worry about that . . .
But this is supposed to be about Vincent! He's rather comfortable in being a Legacy Hero, though he isn't uninvolved or recumbent in the least. He misses getting to see how Iolite evolves and defines itself within games, but he has never been close to the team, either. So, the gap that exists between him and the team is definitely growing . . . He is also concerned without how the team handles games, especially when it comes to Obsidian and, to a lesser degree, Kamui. Likewise, Vincent has priorities that are not part of the common ground of the team, such as protecting Peridot, but he is less worried about that with Gilbert separated from them like he is.
So, it's mostly good with some minor drawbacks . . . Any chance of going Legacy with Itachi soon?
Not any time soon, no. I have thought about it. But he is my only character and I have no plans for a second right now, and I would miss playing games. He still has plenty of memories and skills to get back so that's not really an issue. Though I...need to update his registry.
Legacy Hero is definitely an option I'd take if something changes, though.
Hmm, Serah enjoys games where she gets to be involved, but they aren't high-stakes or something that she would object to. The most recent mingling game where she had to deduce roles was up her alley. She does like the creative games, but she ends up getting stifled when she is paired with a team. She's not very good about speaking up unless someone pulls her into it.
