Hmm, cute! Serah is always a bit more forgiving and fond of girls in general, so it wasn't like Rin had to do anything for Serah to sort of end up charmed by her. She likes her style and way of going about things, tsundere or not, and she is glad that she is keeping her sister company. Serah has a strong feeling that when Rin has a bit more confidence around her, Rin could be a really amazing person to be around. ///////
He likes to carve gems and wood, build gizmos, create mobiles, toys, dildos, handcuffs, etc . . . Read books, makes books with a printing press when he gets bored, except it ends up working more like a laser printer sometimes . . . He watches a lot of television like the Showtime-style soft porn. He's that guy who has like a hundred cool things started around his apartment and none of it is finish until he pulls it apart to start something new . . . That will also go unfinished. Oh, and he likes to decorate the rooms in his hotel. That is fun.
Obviously games derail things most days, and very involved quests too, but this is what a full day without either looks like:
- Wakes up very early in the morning unless recovering from overexertion/particularly crappy memories. Grabs some sort of quick breakfast with Lloyd before they head out. Limbers up and does some knife and sword drills in the gym.
- Usually he wanders around, pesters/is pestered by people, etc. etc. He likes to check on him important folks at least semiregularly. If he is in a quieter mood he does some gardening or mending or sewing/other craftwork, but still out in the open where there are people. Makes time for Personae quests (the most regular one being the Mother Goose one for food baskets,) checks in with clinic folks every few days as well, gets some exercise, takes Admiral the giant frogdog out for walks. Sparring and the occasional elevenses/teatime run also happens.
Essentially he doesn't have a set schedule but tries to be outdoors and useful all day!
- If he heads back to Sterling earlyish he probably does some cleaning either in the gym or in Sterling itself; this happens about once a week? More likely he'll get back relatively late at night. Dinner and showering and cleaning up the kitchen with Lloyd, chatting about their day, craftwork and/or questwork, taking memories if both of them feel up to it, sleep.
Serah was on a bit of a roller coaster for a minute there! She got back a memory of her life before everything happened which included a lot of flashbacks to her childhood, her summer before going to university, and all that, so she was struck by what a great life she had . . . Then, she realized that she never did find a way back to that and got really upset by it. So, she shifted gears and decided that she didn't want to content herself with only a part of her dreams, not that Lightning isn't more than fifty percent of what makes her happy at any given time but—! Oh, and she got a memory about that, too. So, she has learned to be very particular on what she wants as far as endings go.
Anyway, she went to Beauty and pleaded while sobbing that she wanted to go back home, whether she was dead or not, in order to fix everything and get to do everything that she didn't get to do! She wants to get married, she wants to have children, she wants to have a family with her sister there, damnit!! So, she sort of gave in to her desire to be Beauty's knight with the hinge-point that Beauty has to help her get back. Serah will give her all kinds of hell if she doesn't, but she does trust Beauty to try to do everything she can, even against all better judgement . . . However, she sort of cut herself off in the middle of a crying fit that she has needed since, um, she arrived in Aather and has had to deal with multiple death memories. But she talked to Tiger about the situation, nope'd right out, threw a fit in her room and wailed alone while everyone was drunk and tanked from the party, then she made Lightning come over and cuddle with her while she cried a tiny bit more . . .
There was the bonds game after that which was nice and easy on her psyche after that episode, because Whiskey is unabashedly the easiest person in the world for Serah to relax with. And she talked to Beauty about setting up a mall, so she has something fun to occupy herself with as she bops around, yay!!
Back at you . . . I keep stalking Mithos from afar, derp.
I might have told you?! But he found it ironic that she of all people is doing what he wanted instead of, say, Gilbert . . . Otherwise, he does give her some credit for making a somewhat sound tactical move, though he doubts that she really saw it through. He's probably taken them all by now, I think . . . I am not on top of it with memories . . . At all . . . . . . . . . .
And we are going to thread when the timeline stops being kind of ridiculous!! Because it wasn't and now it is and I'm all kinds of confused . . . It might be easy to just approach him when Gil and Oz take off . . . 8|?!
YES... I THINK. It's not like Vincent doesn't know half of her memories, and it's not like he'd tell Turquoise or any close CR about them, and that's why she trusted him with them. There are also other bad decisions that she is a-ok with.
Zwei, on the other hand, is pissed because she actually WANTS her memories. Not to mention this is Echo's way of sabotaging her, too. yay.
Don't shank me, because your brother is adorable . . . No, um?! I cannot recall the latest between Stealth and Serah, so I am going to lean towards no . . .
I wouldn't want to shank you because my brother is adorable. I'd want to shank you for being a dick to him. It's different. Though, really, why shank you when I can just stick you in an illusion.
Um, no, I guess not. Itachi still needs to cook for Serah and have her over for dinner. He might get Lightning to help him because he told her he'd teach her some of what he knows about cooking. Clearly the best time for that is making dinner for her sister.
And if Sasuke tells Itachi about Vincent he might approach him again, who knows.
W-Wonderful . . . I wrote a whole thing at Mithos, but she was so happy to have Whiskey with her. ♥ She knew that she wouldn't get surprised by anything with him and that he wouldn't get too uncertain with her. They were two teenagers being simply adorable the whole time, and she got to sit around being perfectly domestic at Emerald with a good excuse. (She made breakfast and dessert for them~.) Her survey reply will give you cavities if you haven't seen it. She is too cute too cope with, sometimes.
What's Itachi's general feel towards Sasuke as of late?
Serah is a ball of embarrassment in Tiger's direction. I mean, he is one of her closest relationships in Aather which is why she broached a lot of topics with him that she hasn't quite come as clear about with anybody else, like the death issue . . . My memory is vague, but she did it in a rather roundabout way, since she's not very good at being point blank with others, like some people. (coughLightningcough) So, she was trying to figure out how to talk about things like that, because she does need to talk about them and she knows that the people that care about her would want to know! But she did so poorly with him and felt so bad about how much pressure that conversation may have put on him, especially when it wasn't something he necessarily asked for . . .
Still, she is comfortable with him! So, Serah can sort that situation out easily enough on her own under her own power as soon as she works up the nerve to. She just hopes that he wasn't too put out when she bailed out like she did. Even without her memories, she has that awful habit . . .
But, yes, like I've said countless times before, Tiger is really one of her closest friends. She sort of feels more comfortable with him as an older figure which isn't something that she remembers having, but it is a nice feeling to have someone with more experience looking out for her. ♥
Tiger is not particularly put out that she ran off, because him messing up a conversation somehow and having people walk out on him... happens to him a lot... like in every third memory he's gotten and nearly every conversation he has with Sasuke. So mostly he just feels like he failed a bit at being supportive, or maybe that it just wasn't the right time for her to talk to him! But he's always willing to try again in those situations, so apart from being slightly sad he couldn't help her more right then, mostly he was just like "well... okay, I'll talk to her again later."
The conversation was a little awkward in ways he won't acknowledge, though, for the part where she was like "I tried to be happy having Lightning but I want everyone from home and a family and--" Because to a certain extent these are also feelings that he has, especially now that he remembers his family! But he tries not to think about it too hard because he has a job to do in Aather and there's nothing he can do about it. There was absolutely zero way he was going to bring up his own feelings in that conversation, though, because he's really terrible at opening up about his own feelings, and especially terrible about it in situations where he thinks he should be helping someone else! So instead he defaulted to more or less a generic pep talk. Which he feels vaguely bad about because she has problems he doesn't really get (time travel...) and therefore it clearly wasn't very effective, but he does not at all consider that it was kind of unfair to approach it like that. Because that is what he does.
BUT YES. Serah is definitely one of Tiger's closest friends! She is cute and smart and dedicated and he wants to help her out. Plus she is the type of person who is really good for him to have as support and grounding, so it tends to work out that way even if he doesn't intend it to, so he will open up to her more than anyone else, pretty much!
Ummmm what did Serah think of bitty Kotetsu! Possibly they could talk about that IC at some point.
Oh, sure. I don't know how everyone was playing with that, but Serah would talk about it if Tiger brought it up. :|aaa
As for her thoughts, she was rather . . . Hmm, Serah didn't think too deeply on the situation. How people are as children isn't necessarily reflective of who they are as adults. That said, he seemed like an alright kid who was dealing with a pretty difficult situation. She doesn't begrudge him that, and he seemed to be managing in his own way. So, it wasn't that surprising considering what she knows of Tiger as an adult . . .
I am high with a cold, so if that makes no sense, then that is the reason why . . .
Words are . . . hard . . . Um?! Serah understands Flynn a lot more now. It helped to see how and why he put himself together like that, though it doesn't solve the issue of how to approach him under certain situations. Still, she appreciates that it is difficult for him as well as for her, so she's more likely to put forth an effort. There's a lot to be unwound there, if it should even be unwound . . . Hmm, hmm!! It is still a work in progress, but it is more like fifty percent done rather than sitting at the starting line . . .
I-I can't do too much of this off of the top of my head when it is cluttered with a cold, but that is the vague idea!!!! . . . Reverse . . .
Flynn really appreciates a lot of the effort that Serah is putting forward and he really wants to be able to respond in kind! She's really unique in being someone who calls out how he kind of sorts his personal strife away and digging into that a little. Tentatively Flynn kind of wants to sit down and try to figure out that difficulty, to try to understand how he can make it easier for her and maybe himself in turn since it's not something that other people really bring up to him though it is something he's mindful of at times.
But basically he really just has mad respect for Serah because to him she is strong and capable and she's honest and unafraid of being direct when it comes to what she wants. He'd just like to do anything he can to support her. '-'
Kazuki, Chariot, Thorn, Coral, and Sasuke, I guess . . . But like saying they contribute the most is them having five more entries when everyone generally has like . . . Oh, eight hundred already in. It's a marginal difference. Lloyd and Mithos get an honorable mention for a lot of domestic fic . . .
