You cannot see what is beyond the door, but it smells sour and sharp. Before you can turn over the thought of should you or shouldn't you, if you are the kind, there is a quiet push at your back and through the door you go . . .

The gesture might pull his shirt sleeve up, revealing a very raw scar around his wrist that he is quick to try and cover . . . He glances at the destruction of the hedges, pausing on it, then looking at the gates.

"Mmm ... Ah, I have a key. It might be for one of these."

He takes a deep breath then starts moving. When he comes back to the entrance, he carefully skirts around the opening, before going on. It seems like he's headed to the gate on the other side of the entrance.
